DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS PIES “Baked in Detroit”
We will be taking over the kitchen at COMET BAR at the end of December. You fine people will soon be able to pick up your favorite pies right by Tiger Stadium. 128 Henry st. Detroit, MI. The COMET BAR is one of the Coolest Dive Bars and lowdown music venues in Detroit. We’ll be serving Sweet Pie, Savory Pies and Quiche at the Bar 7 days a week Noon to 11pm. you’ll still be able to get a slice from the bar after the kitchen closes. We’ll be rocking a Pie Brunch on Sundays. If your in the Detroit area and need pies, hit us up through the website. Pie should start being available at the Comet Bar start December 20th.

Hello Pie Lovers!
Apologies that we have been neglectful of the blog. Here is a little update to catch you up!
Occu-PIE Detroit is in full swing. The “Pie Man” is baking up a storm at St. Cece’s Pub at 1426 Bagley. Tell your friends in Detroit. HotRod hits the stage again tonight, October 27th, for what is sure to be another rockin’ show. Doors open at 5pm.

Next stop on the Pie Tour – Austin, Texas. Next week Rodney with head back to Austin, hot on the prowl for a killer spot to open up the new shop.
In other recent news, if you missed it, Rodney just appeared on the hit Food Network’s hit TV show Chopped. Chicken feet and skittles? What a bizarre combination. It was quite the challenge. While he wowed the judges with his delectable feet, unfortunately “Chef Rodney” was chopped.
We also just participated in the Food Network’s “Ultimate Burger Bash”. Alongside Duff Goldman and his unusually flavored milkshakes, Rodney and our head baker Lazlo Lee wowed attendees with our dangerously delicious pies. Rod managed to make a few new high profile friends at the event. Among them Whoopi Goldberg.
